What it isJesus miraculously healed people in one moment — body, soul and spirit. We have faith to ask Him for an immediate healing, but we allow Him to have the final say in how He wants to heal. When trauma has been repeated over time, it takes time to reverse it. So we move at God’s pace and His direction.During our sessions, we identify areas of trauma, grief, and relational instability, and partner with the Holy Spirit through listening prayer to replace false belief systems with a truth encounter that brings wholeness and healing.“Be still, and know that I am God.”Psalm 46:10Who it’s forYou don’t need a crisis to come. Maybe you are just looking for a tune-up or a check-in. Other people reach out because something has shifted in their lives.Soul care is for you if:You feel distance in your relationship with God.You are experiencing some kind of loss. You are experiencing spiritual oppression. You want to learn how to listen to God and deepen your relationship with Him.What a session looks like
1We begin in silenceA few minutes to arrive, before either of us says anything. Most people find this is the part they come to need most.
2You talkAbout whatever is actually present — not what you think should be. There is no agenda to get through and no progress to report.
3We listen togetherWe invite the Holy Spirit and listen for where a false belief took hold — often attached to a specific memory, grief, or relationship.
4We close in prayerOften with one small practice to carry into the month — something to try, notice, or sit with.

Is this therapy? No. I am trained in pastoral trauma care; I am not a licensed therapist. Soul care addresses what is blocking you spiritually — the beliefs underneath the wound. Clinical treatment addresses psychological health, and the two work well alongside each other. If what you are carrying needs clinical care, I will say so and help you find it.
Do I have to be a certain kind of Christian? No. People come from across traditions, and some come without being sure what they believe right now. The work does not require you to arrive settled.
How often would we meet?Usually once a month. That rhythm gives enough time for something to actually happen between sessions, which is where most of the formation occurs.
What if I run out of things to say? That happens, and it is usually the beginning of something rather than a problem. Silence is part of the hour, not a failure of it.
Is it confidential?Yes. What you bring stays between us, with the ordinary exceptions for safety.
